Bwa Sun Mask from Burkina Faso

Very large polychrome sun mask (white, black, brown and blue) of the bobo ethnic group. Called "solar" this mask would rather represent an owl or an owl. Its function is to restore the balance given by god between the sun, earth and rain. It is protective for the family.
