Rare and very elegant modernist floor lamp from the 1950s, attributed to the French designer and lighting publisher Jean Gandelin (known for his avant-garde work with textured resins such as Cristalux or Duolux). This piece, with its minimalist and graphic design, fits perfectly into a contemporary, vintage, or mid-century interior. • The Diffuser: A large original cylinder made of wound glass fibre threads encased in a translucent resin (Duolux). This iconic material from the fifties diffuses a textured, soft, and extremely warm light. The top features a sleek black metal carrying handle. • The Structure: Slender double legs in original black lacquered metal with a granular appearance, resting on a circular cast iron weighted base. • Condition: Superb vintage condition. The electrical components are original and functional, with its original push-button switch directly integrated into the base. Ready to plug in.
