Mid-century German space age floor lamp by Hustadt Leuchten, 1960s.

Rare mid-century floor lamp by Hustadt glow, Neheim. Simple design in a geometric language and a play with different materials. The lamp consists of a base element and a rectangular diffuser. The striking diffuser is made of translucent plastic and is textured on the outside. Inside, three versions are assembled on one side. The diffuser is held on the side by two square chrome rods that extend into the base. The long rods visibly run outside and support the verticality of the lamp. The base is made of different materials. The black steel plate, acting as the actual weight, is concealed by a protruding wooden disc, creating a shadow joint with the floor. The base showcases a contrast of materials with the shiny chrome on top and the captured wood.
