GFM Mid Century Stool in Yellow Jacquard by Casamance, E. Homa, Europe, 1960s

Beautiful stool designed by Edmund Homa. The stool was manufactured in the 1960s at the Gosciecinska Furniture Factory from solid beech wood. The GFM type stool is considered one of the best Polish designs of the previous era. The stool has been carefully renovated with replaced tension straps and new foam for the upholstery. The fabric is Casamance Parioli, a jacquard velvet featuring very modern geometric patterns, reminiscent of the contemporary architecture of avant-garde Rome.
