Mid Century GFM pair of stools in yellow jacquard by Casamance, E. Homa, 1960s

Beautiful pair of stools designed by Edmund Homa. The stools were manufactured in the 1960s at the Gosciecinska Furniture Factory in solid beech wood. The GFM type stool is considered one of the best Polish designs of the previous era. The stools have been fully renovated with replaced tension straps and new upholstery foam. The fabric is a Casamance Parioli jacquard velvet with modern geometric patterns, reflecting the avant-garde architecture of Rome. The fabric composition is 81% vi, 17% pes, and 2% co, with a Martindale rating of 30, 000 cycles. The fabric comes from Belgium.
