Beautiful stool designed by Edmund Homa. The stool was manufactured in the 1960s at the Gosciecinska Furniture Factory in solid beech. The GFM type stool is considered one of the best Polish designs of the time. The stool has been fully renovated with new tension straps and new foam for upholstery. Regarding the covering: Waterland is a printed fabric made of linen and cotton with a fresh, retro, and cheerful touch, available in three colour palettes: multicolour, blue, and earth tones. Composition: 52% cotton, 48% linen. There is an option to prepare it with different wood and fabric choices. Edmund Homa (born in 1927 in Chojnice, died on 3 April 2017 in Gdynia) was an interior architect and designer. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk in 1955, he worked on various design projects in Poland, including furniture, ship interiors, and more. He was a member of the Artistic Council of the Polish Union of Artists and Designers in Gdansk (1978-1982).
