Roger Picault - Vallauris - Fish decorated plate

Decorative ceramic plate signed by Roger Picault from Vallauris. A beautiful piece featuring a stylised fish design, characteristic of the graphic and colourful spirit of Vallauris ceramics. The fish, rendered in emerald green and brown tones, stands out against a light speckled background, with a treatment of simple and expressive lines. The slightly hollow shape, the edge highlighted with a green line, and the deliberately lively appearance of the glaze add a lot of charm to this plate. Dimensions: Diameter: 24 cm. In used condition, it is not a new copy; the plate has been used and shows some signs of wear (see photos).
