Fish plate Robert Picault Vallauris 1960

This glazed earthenware dish by Robert Picault - Vallauris 1960 - does not hide the traces of a life filled with love and hard work, in and out of the oven, and voilà, lunch in the shade on the terrace, everyone at the table! Two fine cracks at opposite corners, the result of a slight twist caused by the extreme heat of repeated cooking, have left their mark on this massive and heavy handcrafted piece, with the imprint of the oven rack on the back, definitely in grill position. An object full of memories, bursts (of voices and laughter too) and traces, ready for a second, more settled life, at room temperature :) a solid and chic piece. Length 32cm, width 25cm. Height 6cm.
