Plate / Bowl in ceramic MBFA Pornic with stylised fish decoration —

✨️Superb round dish / pocket tray in glazed earthenware from the MBFA Pornic factory (Breton Manufacture of Artistic Faïences), dating from the 1950s-1960s. ✨️This dish features a beautiful stylised fish motif in vibrant colours (green, red, purple, yellow) hand-painted with a textured and relief work on the glaze. ✨️A very fine graphic piece of modernist popular art from the second half of the 20th century. ✨️Stamp: Back stamp "M.B.F.A. PORNIC - Hand-painted" as well as an impressed mark. ✨️Dimensions: Diameter: 25 cm. Height: 2 cm. ✨️Very good overall condition with beautiful bright colours. 💥Please note a discreet glaze skip / micro-chip from use on the edge (see detail photo), without detracting from the charm of the object.
