Pair of eagle head wall sconces in Empire style - bronze Lucien GAU, Paris

Beautiful pair of single-light wall sconces in Empire style, by the famous French bronzier: Lucien GAU. Manufacturer from Faubourg Saint Antoine, Paris. Made in the second half of the 20th century. Made of bronze. Original gilding and patina, in good condition. The light arm is shaped like an oil lamp, with an eagle head; very original. Electricity installed and tested, new electrical system (for E14 bulb). Cardboard candle, in very good condition. They are stamped on the back: LG, for Lucien Gau (see last photo).
