Pair of Gilded Bronze Wall Lights in Empire Style with Two Lights by Lucien Gau

This double wall light in solid bronze, in the Empire style, is of great beauty and perfect balance. Adorned with two swans proudly holding lights, its decorative quality is enhanced by the aged gold and Empire green finish of the bronze that composes it. The central wall part is flat, topped and finished with a decoration of fan-shaped palm leaves. On its central part, a gilded decoration of curved leaves is highlighted by the green lacquer of the frame's background. At the bottom of the wall light, there is a fixture from which the two swans holding lights emerge. The bobeches and candles are supported by the heads of the swans.
