Pair of dolphin wall sconces in Louis XVI style - gilded bronze

Very beautiful pair of wall sconces in Louis XVI style, from the second half of the 20th century. Made of bronze. Original gilding, superb condition with a beautiful shine. These sconces feature an elegant zoomorphic dolphin, while the wall plates are adorned with ribbon motifs. The tulips are made of glass paste and delicately evoke water sprays. The glass elements are in very good condition. One of them has a small chip, barely visible once the sconce is installed (see last photo). A beautifully crafted piece, with carefully executed decorative details. The electrical system and sockets have been replaced with new ones; the whole has been tested and is ready for use with E14 bulbs. Careful packaging guaranteed. Dimensions: Height: 18.00 cm.
