A tall totemic emblem rises from an oval base at the center of this piece, its branch-like tiers stepping outward in deep navy against an electric blue wool ground. Sinuous cloud-form motifs drift across one field, while a diamond and arrow guard stripe anchors the lower edge in a darker register. Size: 16 X 24 inches / 40 X 60 cm. Cover only, insert not included. Cut and hand-sewn from a section of a vintage hand-knotted Anatolian wool rug, with the totemic emblem and guard border formed directly during the knotting process.
