A stepped, vessel-like emblem rises on one side of this piece in dark navy, framed by a narrow botanical guard stripe strung with diamond and flower finials. To its left, sinuous cloud-form bands and crossed X marks drift across the cobalt field, their loose rhythm playing against the emblem's architectural symmetry. Size: 20 X 20 inches / 50 X 50 cm. Cover only, insert not included. Every motif on this piece was formed directly in the pile during the knotting process, cut and hand-sewn from a section of vintage Anatolian wool.
