Vintage Turkish Wool Dragon Pillow, Kilim Lumbar Cushion Cover

Two sinuous dragon-like forms coil across the upper register of this piece in deep navy, flanked by crossed X marks and a four-lobed clover motif on either side. A repeating guard stripe of diamonds and slender arrow forms runs beneath, closing with a plain electric blue field along the lower edge. Size: 16 X 24 inches / 40 X 60 cm. Cover only, insert not included. Cut and hand-sewn from a section of vintage hand-knotted Anatolian wool, with the serpentine motifs and guard stripe formed directly during the knotting process.
