The abstract stone sculpture – a head/figure created in the 1980s, Danish-made. A decorative sculpture in polished stone with a strongly modernist, synthetic form. It resembles a stylised head or silhouette – with characteristically simplified facial features, soft lines and a sculptural form. The natural veining of the stone in dark tones (graphite, brown) means the piece interacts beautifully with light and looks very elegant. Ideal as an accent piece for mid-century modern, modern classic, loft or Japandi interiors – on a shelf, chest of drawers or as part of a display with vintage ceramics.
