Erika mid-century accent chair brown fabric and wooden legs — design 1959 Judit Burián

Judit Burián, a Hungarian artist, designed the "Erika" chair in 1959. She was inspired by the chair of the French designer Pierre Guariche Tonneau. Erika was produced by SZKIV (Chair and Upholstered Furniture Manufacturing Plant) in tens of thousands of copies. It was found in almost every Hungarian household during the socialist era. Original fabric, in good condition. The wear is consistent with age and use. The design style is reminiscent of the selected designer and/or manufacturer.
