Beautiful ring box, pocket emptier, even ashtray - made in the 1950s by the sculptor herta baller after a design by the designer walter bosse - austria - patinated and polished brass in black and gold - superb original piece signed in the brass at the bottom - in perfect condition, unused - dimensions: 13 cm X 12.5 cm - h 4.5 cm - walter bosse's objects are highly sought after and have a very high rating - walter bosse [1904-1979], was a renowned austrian ceramicist, designer and artist, who attended the famous wiener kunstgewerbeschule. Credited with thousands of works and designs for ceramic pieces, walter bosse was extremely prolific. The modernist austrian sculptor and ceramicist was best known for his distinctive "black golden" series of decorative objects.
