Dr Glob chair, 1985-1989, by Philippe Starck for Kartell in varnished steel and polypropylene

Chair dr glob by philippe starck for kartell. Model created in 1985-1989. A similar copy, with the same seat colour, is preserved in the design collections of the musée national d'art moderne-centre pompidou. Signed under the seat. The range of seats dr. Glob plays on the contrast between plastic and metal. The angular, solid shapes of the front legs and thick seat respond to the round, lightweight shapes of the rear pillars and backrest. The frame of this stackable chair is made of aluminum tube with a shell and front legs in tinted polypropylene. Good condition of use. Some scratches of use, slightly discolored sitting on the back, lifting of paint on one of the feet.
