They show some normal usage scratches for this type of material, but no cracks, breaks, or structural weaknesses. Introduced in 1999, La Marie is an emblematic piece by Philippe Starck published by Kartell. It is recognized as the first transparent polycarbonate chair molded in one piece, a true industrial feat at the time. Its minimalist, almost immaterial design paved the way for a whole generation of transparent furniture and remains a classic of contemporary design today.
