The Dr. Glob chair was designed by the famous designer Philippe Starck for Kartell in Italy. Made from two different materials, Phillipe Starck's modern interpretation of a classic chair quickly achieved iconic status. Its unique design characterizes Philippe Starck's first design direction that made it world famous. The chair can be used both indoors and outdoors and is stackable up to ten chairs for easy storage. Dr. Glob was born from the idea of combining different materials to achieve greater structural rigidity while using an innovative design approach. The texture, opacity and thickness of the chair make Dr. Glob a true masterpiece of style. The seat is made with a special plastic compound that gives the chair a warm and fluffy, soft and opaque quality. The material used is dyed in the mass to guarantee good abrasion resistance, optimal product life and outdoor use. All versions of the Dr. Glob chair are stackable.
