Venetian Florentine Platter LP Italy

Pretty and large tray with beautiful turquoise green, red and white colors, applied by hand on a gold background. It can be used for service but also diverted, in accumulation with others, to decorate a wall in an original way. Below a hollow stamp indicates "original 's florence, hand made, by lp italy". Difficult to determine the material, some were made of plastic from the 70s or 80s, but comparing with another that I own, I lean more towards a very light wood, without certainty however. And I will therefore date it from the 50s to the 60s. Made in the second half of the 20th century for passing tourists, these trays were very popular as souvenir objects because they imitated the much older “real” florentine trays (and obviously much older). Dear). This tray is in good general condition, solid, without cracks or chips, just one barely visible scratch and abrasions from use underneath. It measures 38 cm in diameter with a height of 1.6 cm at the rim.
