Double-sided oak trade counter

Large antique trade counter from the early 20th century, remarkable for its bi-faced configuration. Made of solid oak and oak veneer, it features very careful cabinetmaking. Its sides are adorned with elegant decorative inlays of mother-of-pearl forming beautiful marquetry patterns. The patinated brass handles are original. Thanks to its two fitted sides, this piece of furniture is ideal for placement in the centre of a room, such as in a kitchen island or as a space divider. The front side has 12 functional drawers offering a large storage volume. The back side features a layout with a large upper drawer and two doors. The interior wooden shelves have been entirely crafted and added by us in our workshop. The piece has been thoroughly cleaned and serviced in our workshop.
