'Grasslands' - Vintage Mid Century Swedish Framed Oil Painting

A beautifully textured mid century oil, painted on to canvas. The artist has applied the paint thickly to several areas, creating varied depths within the picture. Dynamic, expressive distinct strokes make up the lower half of the picture, while more rounded and rhythmic brushwork can be found in the top half of the painting. The painting is housed in its original mid century frame, which has borders in dark wood and a middle fabric lined section. The painting is in excellent vintage condition. The frame has some age toning to the fabric area, but overall is in good vintage condition. Size: 66 X 77 cm (including frame).
