Teak Rob Parry Lotus armchair for Gelderland

Beautiful armchair designed by Rob Parry for Gelderland. The model is called Lotus and is made of a steel base, solid teak frame, rubber straps and upholstered foam cushion. The original cushions and foam had deteriorated over time, so they have been replaced with new foam and new upholstery from Maharam. The green fabric is called Beck with colour code 028 Malachite and is 100% wool. This Dutch minimalist design icon is now comfortable again and ready for the next 50 years of enjoyment. The armchair is 84 cm high, 69 cm wide and 75 cm deep. Condition: There is some patina on the metal legs, otherwise the armchair is in very good vintage condition. The cushions have been reupholstered.
