This one-of-a-kind Fajalauza ceramic table lamp celebrates five centuries of Granada artistry. The tin-glazed earthenware base glows milky white, hand-painted in the signature azul y verde palette with flowing vegetal scrolls, stylized birds, and the pomegranate—Granada’s emblem. Crafted from local clay and decorated with mineral pigments of copper and cobalt oxide, the lamp’s surface retains the slight brushstroke cadence collectors prize—evidence of the maker’s hand. Its graceful, globular jarrón form with a narrow neck and single handle nods to Andalusia’s traditional alcarrazas, while the discreet green workshop mark on the underside authenticates its Morales lineage. Amitābha Studio designed and wove the custom shade to mirror the base’s tones, wrapping cotton threads in alternating bands of cobalt, soft green, and white.
