This refined Delft lamp is decorated with bold iron red panels framing hand-painted flower bouquets in ochre yellow, cobalt blue, and sage green, all set against a bright white tin-glazed background, characteristic of Dutch polychrome earthenware from Delft. The Altena & Krooyenga Makkum mark - a shield surrounding the interlaced monogram A & K above Makkum, with model number 306 and the painter's initial "S." - confirms its attribution.
