A beautiful antique armoire that will bring character, warmth, and softness to your room with its rounded shapes. It offers various storage spaces: 4 shelves, 3 drawers, and a hanging space. It thus serves as a closet, wardrobe, and chest of drawers. Unearthed in an old family home, this armoire is part of the 1940s furniture collection at the Saint-Chamond hospital. As a side note: the "couramiauds" (residents of Saint-Chamond) call this item "an Antoine Pinay armoire," a minister during the 1950s, who was mayor of the town at the time. Despite its great age, this piece of furniture is in good condition; it has been refinished with linseed oil to restore its original golden honey color. For the few signs of wear, see the numerous photos that are an integral part of the description. The cracks and scratches on the left door are less noticeable in reality than in the photos. These are surface cracks only. The beautiful handles and locks are original (except for one key). The doors lock. The wardrobe, made of solid wood, cannot be disassembled, except for the doors and drawers, which will reduce its weight for transport. Inside, the wardrobe measures 143 cm in height from the bottom of the unit to the hanger bar, 58 cm in width, and 44 cm in depth. The shelves are removable; their height can be adjusted according to your needs. The drawers measure 50 cm in width, 43 cm in depth, and 12 cm in height. Please note that the width at the feet (125 cm) is greater than that of the rest of the unit (119 cm). Height = 200 cm.
