Very pretty sculpture in spelter. By Emile Bruchon (1806-1895) Entitled "Mélodie", stamp of the founder Moreau located on the side of the subject. Mounted as an electrified lamp without drilling the figurine (old plug) And placed on a marble base. Period late 19th century. The woman holds a stringed instrument (harp type) in one hand. In the other hand, she brandishes a torch which has 3 small screws to place a tulip, an opaline or a globe. Very fine and elegant sculpture in terms of the facial features, the hair, the curves and the drape of the dress, beautiful patina, marble base reattached on the front part. Total height 64 cm. Subject alone: 48 cm. Width of the base at the widest point: 13 cm. Style: Art Nouveau.
