Chesterfield leather sofa, Art Deco style, fully restored.

We are delighted to offer for sale this Art Deco style Chesterfield club sofa in whisky brown leather, fully restored, with a completely buttoned base and the best colour finish of all my current stock. This sofa is a very rare vintage piece, almost impossible to find in original condition with period leather except as spare parts. The sofa is timeless, a fully buttoned traditional model, the highest quality, with a remarkable worn patina. The original leather has been carefully stripped of its old colours, hand-dyed six times, aged, sealed with wax, and then polished. Dimensions: height 78 cm, width 214.5 cm, depth 89 cm, seat height 41 cm. The patina shows natural signs of use or aging, regular maintenance with wax is recommended, and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided to preserve the hand-dyed leather.
