An old piece of furniture steeped in history, this solid oak notary's cabinet captivates with its architectural appearance and intact authenticity. Behind its structured façade, which mimics drawers, lies a space that is both aesthetic and functional, ideal for adding character to an interior. Materials: raw solid oak. Features: this notary's cabinet opens with two large doors, each imitating eight drawers, a typical detail of notary furniture that gives it its uniqueness. Inside, it is organised into ten large compartments offering ample storage capacity, perfect for housing linens, crockery, papers, or books. Renovation: this notary's cabinet has been entirely hand-sanded to remove its very dark brown varnish while preserving its patina and signs of life. It has been intentionally left in raw wood, revealing the nobility of the oak and giving it a wabi-sabi charm, authentic and very contemporary. Condition: the cabinet is solid, healthy, and stable on its feet. The two locks on the right door are no longer functional, but the doors close perfectly without them. The back of the cabinet is not brand new but remains sturdy. Dimensions: L104 X D37.5 X H170.5. Interior: L93 X D31 X H152. Height of left compartments: 52.5-14-30-30-19. Height of right compartments: 37-30-30-30-19.
