Murano glass vase

The glass is blue with a deliberately "archaeological" surface, matte, whitish, and oxidised, which corresponds well to this technique known as scavo, intended to imitate an antique glass unearthed from excavation. The red/brown rim and the small applied handle are decorative and quite typical of this neo-antique Murano aesthetic. What I like: the stout shape with a low belly is elegant, the turquoise/petrol blue colour, and the base with a worked pontil. Overall in good condition.
