Clock from the 70s from the peter west-germany manufactory. In good working order. In 1967, within the framework of the common market "jaz" signed with "peter-uhren gmbh" an agreement of technical, industrial and commercial collaboration. The previous year peter had just celebrated its centenary and built a modern and design factory next to its historic headquarters in rottweil, a small town in the black forest in a meander of the neckar, quite close finally to the jaz factory in wintzenheim on the outskirts of colmar. Jaz had already concluded close agreements with other watch brands such as smi - société méridionale industrielle marseillaise - or vedette and even absorbed some such as japy and carat. A supplementary agreement concluded in 1975 with peter, now p.u.f. - peter-uhren fabrik, uhren being the plural of clocks in german - stipulates that the company p.u.f. Manufactures all of jaz's needs in large mechanical alarm clocks and that jaz provides for all of peter's needs in mechanical watchmaking. With this agreement jaz was, once again, ahead since other franco-german alliances in the world of watchmaking will follow such as matra and vdo or bayard and jaeger. Ps: two splinters at the rear not visisble suspended.
