Alsatian ceramic ear bowl

Adorable eared bowl whose style and “daisy” pattern are typical of soufflenheim in alsace, from one of the two family artisanal potteries (lehmann since 1888 and friedmann since 1802). On this enameled and glazed ceramic bowl, the pattern is caramel for the center and ecru for the petals on a khaki green background, the interior is sand colored. The daisy pattern is still available today, in collections with traditional decoration, so it is difficult for me to date this bowl. This bowl is in good general condition, but does not hide some signs of use: two small chips, one on the high rim, the other on one ear. We also note a small relief inside which is an original defect. It measures 16 cm wide, 12 cm deep, 7 cm high.
