Vintage ear bowl duo

A pair of earthenware bowls with a glazed finish, featuring a stylised floral decoration typical of popular productions from Eastern France. The central motif of cream daisies, highlighted with deep greens and nuanced browns, stands out against a warm background with slightly flamed effects. The interior, glazed in a bright orange, provides a bold and very decorative contrast. The shape is simple and generous, with two small side handles moulded into the body. Likely a handcrafted or semi-handcrafted production from Alsace or the East (1960s–80s), in the tradition of utilitarian ceramics with stylised regional decoration. In excellent vintage condition, with some light signs of use and micro-irregularities in the glazing (see photos). Diameter 12 cm, width 16 cm with the two handles, height 6.5 cm. Weight: 380 g per bowl. Perfect for a table where the material interacts with natural and contrasting tones.
