Set of antique Minton porcelain and Imari decoration – 19th century

Beautiful set of antique porcelain with Japonisme / Imari decoration, in cobalt blue, orange-red, white, and with gold highlights. The lot includes several pieces from the English manufacturer Minton, bearing a mark on the reverse, as well as various matching antique pieces in the same decorative style. The set includes: – two scalloped bowls; – one large decorative plate; – two cups with their saucers; – one small bottle vase; – one small square container. A total of 9 physical items. A very beautiful decorative set, representative of the taste for Japanese and Imari decorations in the 19th century. Overall good condition considering the age. No significant chips noted. Some signs of use, small irregularities, and occasional wear to the decoration or gilding may be present. The different pieces do not all bear the same mark: the lot is sold as an antique set comprising Minton pieces and matching Imari-decorated porcelain, and not as a homogeneous Minton service.
