Art Deco Stool Bench

Period: ca. 1920 this rectangular bench has an incomparable art deco look. It is rather low and therefore suitable as additional seating in the living room, as a bedroom bench or a hallway bench. The curved sides that serve as legs are veneered in mahogany while the sides and upper structure are in a blond wood. The thick rectangular seat (wooden tray and foam) is located in the frame and is not fixed. The seat has been fitted with a new foam cushion and covered in an art deco style fabric with burgundy and white fan patterns. Condition: good. This item has been reupholstered and upholstered with a new foam seat. The seat is very sturdy. The blond wooden part shows signs of use. One corner has been repaired (see photo).
