Farm table, monastery, solid oak 19th century or earlier.

Superb very old farmhouse table, showing its history and patina. Beautifully constructed with mortise and tenon joints in solid oak. Very original, with 2 huge solid drawers hidden under the top (a more recent modification). Of considerable dimensions, it has managed to maintain elegance and lightness. Another originality and advantage for a table of this era, which is often too low now, this one offers a height of 77 cm (was it a work table. Draper or something else?). It is very stable, washed, treated, and fully waxed, highlighting the grain and a lovely shade of aged patinated wood. Length: 1.75 m. Height: 77 cm. Width: 76 cm. Height under the apron: 57 cm.
