Vintage design. Filigree rocking chair by the Danish manufacturer FDB Møbler, based on a design by Børge Mogensen from the 1960s. The filigree frame is made of walnut. The backrest is contoured and composed of spokes. The spokes extend and support the armrests. The elaborate connections of the solid wood elements are striking, especially the way the spokes penetrate the armrests. The vertical cushion has been renewed and covered in yellow Kvadrat fabric. The bright yellow of Hallingdal stands out particularly in contrast to the dark walnut of the frame. The upholstery is symmetrical and can be used on both sides. The chair is in very good condition with signs of wear. The upholstery has been renewed by professionals.
