Antique blue faience soup tureen with stand – decor featuring gallant scenes. Elegant antique fine faience soup tureen with a blue monochrome decoration, depicting pastoral and gallant scenes. Oval model with a twisted handle lid, twisted handles, and its matching stand. Piece signed under the base E. Georges (painted mark), French production from the late 19th / early 20th century, in the spirit of Nevers or Rouen faiences. Very beautiful decorative quality, ideal as a centrepiece, in a china cabinet, or for old kitchen decoration. Generally in good condition, normal wear related to age (see photos). No visible chips or cracks.
