Set of 2 Early Edition Loop Garden Rocking Chairs by Willy Guhl for Eternit AG, Switzerland 1950s

The loop garden chair was designed by willy guhl in switzerland in 1954. These sculptural chairs are from the early edition manufactured by eternit ag during the 1950s. The chairs are made from moulded concrete sheets, a new material at the time, which made the loop-shaped design possible for the first time. The iconic chairs are in original vintage condition. They have a beautiful natural outdoor patina and show signs of wear typical of age and use. There is no structural damage. These impressive furniture sculptures are beautiful collector's items.
