10 Vintage French Absinthe Spoons all Different

Authentic french absinthe spoons from the turn of the last century, 10 vintage spoons. These spoons were part of the ritual in bars and cafes all over france for serving that notorious beverage of artists and bohemians, absinthe. Legend has it that it was highly addictive, that it quickly damaged the brain, and that many succumbed to madness under its influence. We have a group of 10 vintage absinthe spoons. All different, these spoons held a lump of sugar. Water was poured over the sugar to dissolve it and dilute the absinthe in the glass which became milky white rather like 'pastis'... These spoons are not easy to find...so a group that are all different is quite unusual. Condition is 'very used' for most of these spoons...reflecting their age.
