Bressane wardrobe in Louis XV style

Superb Bressan wardrobe in solid walnut, dated from the 19th century, originating from the Bresse region. An emblematic piece of Burgundy's rural heritage, it stands out for its rustic elegance and the richness of its carved decoration. The interior of the doors is made of elm, a typical craftsmanship of this region. The crossbar is monogrammed and dated. The two swinging doors feature beautiful moulded panels decorated with floral and leafy motifs, characteristic of the Bressan style. The high crossbar is finely carved with a flower basket, symbolising abundance. Patinated wax finish, highlighting the warm colour of the walnut. Spacious interior equipped with adjustable shelves on rack, offering ample storage space. The left side is fitted with a wardrobe.
