Mountain wardrobe in fir from the 19th century

Carved fir wardrobe – 19th century. Elegant solid fir wardrobe opening with two moulded and carved doors featuring flowing reserves and scrolls in the Louis XV style. The shaped cornice (gendarme hat) is adorned with a central medallion, also echoed at the lower part, giving the whole a beautiful harmony. The wood has a warm honey patina that highlights the grain of the fir. The doors are fitted with their long pierced brass handles. The slightly rounded uprights and curved feet emphasise the quality of its design. The interior, well-finished and polished, consists of hanging spaces. Original piece from the south-east of France. Period: 19th century. Style: Provincial Louis XV. Material: solid fir.
