All-sided dressing table in burl mahogany decorated with geometric marquetry. This small piece of furniture has a top made of a single burl mahogany board, accompanied by a frieze made of small lemon wood squares and rosewood triangles. The belt has identical precious wood marquetry and has a drawer closing with a working lock accompanied by its original chiseled key. A hook lock allows the upper flap to be closed. The latter is equipped with a large mirror surrounded by a molded rod and is held by original knee compasses. The interior of this dressing table has a storage space topped with a sliding mahogany shelf. Finally, this piece of furniture rests on s-shaped legs with scrolls at the top and bottom. It is mounted on casters and its four legs are held by a composition of four wooden elements connected with a large disc. ******* period: early 19th century excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
