Elegant mid-century table in rosewood veneer, enhanced by a finely crafted marquetry decoration, consisting of light wood fillets and a large bouquet of wildflowers intricately executed. The top, with delicately rounded corners, is bordered by a brass gallery that highlights the richness of the design and the quality of the craftsmanship. The gallery opens to a perfectly integrated decorated drawer, equipped with a functional lock and a chiselled key, reflecting the attention to detail. The piece rests on four tapered and fluted legs, exuding great elegance, joined by an X-shaped stretcher centred with a decorative medallion. The turned feet complete the ensemble with refinement, typical of the taste and style of the Napoleonic III era. This table stands out for the quality of its veneer, the delicacy of its floral marquetry, and the harmony of its proportions, making it a representative piece of 19th-century French furniture, combining luxury and craftsmanship. In good condition after restoration in our cabinetmaking workshop. French polish finish. 564V.
