Stoneware mugs from Puisaye by Jean-Pierre Prud’homme

Update 04/11/25: Please note, these cups are no longer sold in sets of three, as I've sourced six more. They will be available here in sets of nine within the next day or two. Here is a set of three stoneware cups with a truly unique shape! They are made of Puisaye stoneware with a lovely glaze that blends soft, comforting tones: beige, caramel, and chocolate—a material and color palette typical of the 1970s. Beautiful handcrafted work by the potter Jean-Pierre Prud'homme. They are unsigned because Jean-Pierre Prud'homme did not sign every piece in a set. These cups accompanied a beautiful signed pitcher (also available here in my shop). Jean-Pierre Prud'homme and his wife founded a pottery workshop in Monnaie in 1971, working with clay from the Nièvre region (Puisaye stoneware). This workshop still exists today (Atelier au Grès du Vent), run by his son Benoit Prud'homme, who took over in the 1990s and 2000s and also creates beautiful ceramics. These cups date from the 1970s and are in perfect condition, with no flaws to report. They measure 10 cm in diameter at the base, 6.5 cm in diameter at the opening, 12 cm wide including the handle, and 9 cm high.
