About tue poulsen: Tue poulsen is a prominent danish ceramicist, born in 1939 in hillerød. He trained at the copenhagen school of arts and crafts from 1959 to 1962, and since his debut in 1963, he has made his mark in both ceramics and visual arts. Poulsen's works range from heavy stoneware sculptures to light, almost transparent porcelain objects. He also works with design, including tableware and unique vases, which are often characterized by experimental glazes. One of his most notable commissions was the decoration of the altar stone in vangede church in 1974, where he created a unique combination of ceramics and architecture. Poulsen has had numerous solo exhibitions and is known for his ability to combine artistic freedom with functionality in his design objects.
