Ancient Chinese "Kang table" made of solid elm from the late 19th century, Qing Dynasty, Shanxi Province. Peasant furniture from the period. An authentic piece, unrestored, made entirely of wood and craftsmanship. Ideal as a coffee table, entrance bench, or bedside table. Features: • Solid yumu elm wood, natural patina from 120 years of use. • Thick top (3 cm), front and back sides carved, signature of the Shanxi style, natural patina. • Through dovetail drawer, smooth operation. • Export or workshop marking from the period (Zhusha). Vermilion still visible on the top but very faded (Ghost mark). • Original forged lock.
