This truly unique table lamp in the shape of a carbon chain molecule embodies the energy and dynamism of 1970s modernism! Featuring five opaque spheres arranged around two central atoms, the chrome frame acts as the bonds that form this sculptural molecule - a real eye-catcher whether lit or unlit. Designed and wired for E14 bulbs, this table lamp emits a soft glow, ideal for ambient lighting in an atmospheric setting. The lamp is currently fitted with a two-pin European plug and operates with a two-way switch. This fixture is in very good stable condition with only a few signs of its age, and the chrome has retained its shine over the years. The spheres show some slight discolouration visible up close. With its unique composition clearly referencing atomic and Space Age designs, we believe this fixture will fit perfectly in modernist and minimalist interiors. Dimensions: sphere diameter: 13 cm, base diameter: 24 cm, total diameter: 52 cm, height (including spheres): 60 cm.
